Fantastic stay around! St Victor La Grand Maison quietly exceeded every expectation for our group of 21. We had space to be together or apart, a pool, accessible rooms, and the option of chef-prepared meals. Each house had its own unique feel — from cosy corners to airy spaces — and one even had a terrace tucked under an old barn roof, complete with sofas for moonrise chill-outs. ✨ The estate is rustic yet beautifully maintained, with gardens full of seasonal blooms and a 400-year-old oak standing guard by the river. We loved paddle boarding and canoeing from the garden, and spotting a kingfisher near Ingrandes. Paul, Marie, and their team were wonderfully warm yet discreet. Only disappointment? Missing Simone the cat — off in Paris at the time. A truly well-travelled feline. 🐈🇫🇷
